First, I know I’m missing out by not having read the manga but having suffered the Berserk epidemic of incompleteness you should feel for me. The anime has erased some important characters I know, but it has highlighted some pretty amazing ones. The first on my list from teachers being Shouta Aizawa always cool, calm and collected despite people in his ear.
Despite his lazy Shikamaru like demeanor, he like Shikamaru is always on his toes. I know the fan favorite is All Might but give the others a chance, he’s attentive to his students and understands them. Rather than focusing on the strengths he’s watching for when there are situations that will really challenge. When they come you really see how much he’s been focused on culminating them with small activities and letting them grow on their own.
This really proves to the viewer that it doesn’t have to be a loud voice but a patient and firm one does works. He’s a real hero, that’s a running theme I like in this series. As funny as that may seem to say about heroes. Some series have characters that’s whose judgement get cloud and still claim to be heroes. Thankfully no character is like that in this anime unless their a villain. None are there for the fame they all have a reason. Even the flashy or ominous looking trainees have a motivation for wanting to be a hero.
I’m just going to start running through some characters on my list from the anime. Todoroki Shoto he at first may seem annoying with his brooding and daddy issues but see past that and you get potential. Especially after watching the latest episode, episode 29, and him noticing his friend’s toil you really get that he’s a strong character with strong character. Next Bakugo smart and has great skill. Not much I can say about him that isn’t already said, his only pitfall is his unrequited feelings for his cute best friend Midoriya- which he gave the nickname Deku. Even though he seems bone headed he’s secretly thinking of plans to tear down the competition, which may come in different packages in this manga/anime.
All the characters are amazing despite their character design. Which leads me to Ochaco Uraraka and like her name is very Bright in a Sunlight type of way but it doesn’t stop there. My initial impression found her to be dull, I thought she would be another female character for the male lead to fawn over. Wow was I completely wrong when she stood against her classmate and showed her stuff. She deserved respect, even though she still has a lot of practice to get through she has latent skills- like flying? I actually want to know if she will be able to do more, because she can for goodness sake manipulate gravity. Also I know I already made this reference in my heirs review, but I sincerely hope she doesn’t fall victim to Sakura Syndrome. Anyway, this list is forever on going I could go on but I know you have your own favorites. Tell me your favorite hero or villain in the comments I know I left a bunch out.
After watch episode 30 the hero killer- even though he’s a villain with a warped sense of judgement his finale action was so cool. That’s another thing with this anime, they make even the most undesirable characters amazing. If you have watched this anime already I implore you to because it is worth each 30 minutes.Tags: #kawaii, anime, boku no hero academia, hereos, High School, manga madness, Sakura Syndrome
